Step 01
Farming trades currency for time, but also gives you control
Farming is easiest to plan when you describe it as a rate over a realistic number of days. It may not be the fastest route, but it gives you a controlled baseline and prevents a short-term market spike from deciding your entire progression plan.
Use a farming estimate that accounts for the sessions you actually complete. If a route depends on extra playtime, label that separately instead of quietly raising the daily rate until the result looks comfortable.
Step 02
Dismantling is a trade, not free progress
Before dismantling, ask what you lose besides the immediate return. The item might be useful to a different build, worth more in a future market, or needed for a guild obligation. A route that looks efficient on one screen can create a more expensive replacement problem later.
Keep the decision reversible when possible. Mark items as candidates first, compare the resulting remaining need, then commit only when the relic target still matters more than the item’s alternate use.
Step 03
Market listings need a price rule and a supply rule
A visible listing is not guaranteed supply at your intended price. Check how much of the required amount is actually available, how quickly the listing changed, and whether the result still fits the reserve you set before browsing.
Use a ceiling rather than chasing a moving price. When the market fails the ceiling, the valid answer can be to wait. Deferring a target is a decision, not a failure of the plan.
